Puno is a region best known for its high and cold lands, for its great mountains, its folklore and for the Titicaca lake at 3812 meters above sea level shared with Bolivia. However, in recent years it has also stood out for the quality of its coffees, because in addition to mountainous and very cold landscapes, Puno is home to rainforests and tropical valleys where specialty coffees grow. Such is the case of the Alto Inambari district, where families from the San Jose sector are mainly dedicated to coffee cultivation.
